SAN FRANCISCO — Good Vibrations announced that it is set for the Feminist Porn Conference to take place April 5-6 at the University of Toronto.
The company is a sponsor of the event that's produced by sex educator Tristan Taormino in conjunction with The Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies.
A long time supporter of feminist porn, Good Vibrations noted that it has created a wealth of information via its GoodVibrationsVOD.com portal.
"There has been a movement for the past 30 years with historical significance that has finally burst into the mainstream where glossy magazines like Shape and Glamour ask us where to find better and more feminist-centric adult content and we proudly have an answer for you with our video on demand site,” said Jackie Strano, executive vice president and executive producer of the site.
She added, “Feminist is the other ‘F’ word to some people but to us it means ethically produced, women friendly, and featuring women directors and alternative sexual representation and diversity of all desires, genders, and orientations."
