DDF Network Accepts Gift Cards as Payment

BUDAPEST, Hungary — DDF Network announced today that it will now be accepting gift cards as viable payment for its network of sites.

"This is a new revenue stream for us, [to] which we haven’t ventured yet, and we are the first European adult site to accept this form of payment,” Affiliate Manager Robin Necula said. “Paygarden contacted us about the integration and all of its benefits, and within a very short test period we had some nice results."

Necula added that the payment system is anonymous and is currently set up to accept more than 100 brand name gift cards, including those from Target, Best Buy and Starbucks.

To pay with a gift card, customers can click on a designated banner on the site of choice or on the join page, which then redirects them to a customized Paygarden payment page.

After a gift card brand is chosen and its respective serial and pin number entered, the system calculates the remaining balance on the card and provides a set number of days for membership.

Customers can then enter their email address and accept, and a code for access to the sites will be sent to their inbox.

"The objective is to create another type of customer who may not have joined before,” Necula concluded.

A chart provided by DDF shows that a $15 gift card garners an eight-day membership; $42 gets 23 days; and $150 gets 292 days.
