Tanya Tate's Cosplay Site Celebrates 3rd Anniversary

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tanya Tate is celebrating the third anniversary of her “geek-tastic” cosplay website JustaLottaTanya.com with a social media contest.

Launched in 2011 as a place for Tate to post images from the comic conventions she attended, the U.K.-born star says that the site quickly grew alongside her cosplay persona. The blog showcases Tate’s love of superhero cosplay and features interviews with other cosplayers, as well as reviews of comic books and collectibles.

“I never thought JLT would take off like it has,” Tate said. “When I started the site, I didn’t think it would lead to being on panels at comic conventions, doing my own reviews or interviews. But, it has. I even have an action figure coming out this year. So, I am very happy with the success of JustaLottaTanya.com and I owe all that to the people who visit it everyday.”

To commemorate the anniversary of JustaLottaTanya.com, Tate is holding a social media contest.

With more than half a million followers on Twitter and Facebook combined, Tate asks fans to tweet or post the following: “I want to see @TanyaTate cosplay as #LadyTitan at @____” filling in blank with the twitter handle of their favorite comic book/sci-fi/geek convention.

Tate will then randomly select winners to receive goodies, including signed 8x10 photos and the newly released Tanya Tate Lady Titan T-shirt, based on her upcoming comic book and action figure character.

The giveaway begins today and runs through March 31, which is also Tate’s birthday.

For more information about the contest, visit JustaLottaTanya.com.

Shirts from Tate’s newly launched T-shirt line can be purchased through online store, TanyaTateStore.com.
