Sliquid Expands Balance Collection With ‘Smooth’ Shave Creams

DALLAS — Sliquid has announced the expansion of its Balance Collection with Sliquid Smooth intimate shave creams, featuring two new scents and revamped packaging.

Sliquid Smooth’s gentle formula purports to offer consumers a skin-soothing alternative to traditional foams, and is particularly directed at retailers looking for a sophisticated spa/beauty category cross-over.

Sliquid Smooth is formulated without glycerin or parabens and is lanolin-free and body-safe. Each variety is infused with a blend of certified organic plant botanicals, including mango butter, shea butter, aloe vera, alfalfa, green tea extract and vitamin E.

New to the line is Mango Passion, a calming botanical known in the aromatherapy world to help reduce stress and relax the senses. Sliquid says that it has also brought back Honeydew Cucumber based on strong customer demand.

“We enhanced our popular Balance series to include Smooth shave creams to provide retailers with a complete matching line of bath and body products merchandised for both adult and mainstream retail,” Sliquid CEO Dean Elliott said. “We’re quite proud of our unique formulations, which are free of harsh and drying ingredients commonly found in most shaving foams — and especially traditional soap. Our customers are excited to have two new scents to add to their shelves, and we are confident that the consumer response will be quite positive.”

Other available varieties are Grapefruit Thyme and Naturally Unscented that Sliquid reps says are meant to appeal to both men and women.

As with all products in the Balance Collection, Sliquid Smooth is packaged in opaque bottles designed to match the blends inside. Sliquid Smooth also has been upgraded to feature pump dispensers for clean and convenient use.
