VALENCIA, Calif. — Girlfriends Films’ “Women Seeking Women” has been nominated for Best Girl/Girl Series at the 2014 XRCO Awards.
The long-running all-girl adult series, which recently released its milestone 100th volume, has earned the award the past four years in a row.
“Witnessing the longevity of ‘Women Seeking Women’ as a favorite amongst XRCO members is the best part about receiving the nomination,” Girlfriends Films President Moose said. “We’ve greatly valued each review they’ve written on all 100-plus volumes. The honest feedback has helped us shape the series into an even better, sexier and more enjoyable experience for fans.”
Each volume of “Women Seeking Women” includes four lesbian scenes that spans more that two hours.
Upon reviewing “Volume 100,” XCritic.com contributor Don Houston gave props to Girlfriends Films’ founder and series creator, Dan O’Connell. Houston wrote, “Dan O’Connell has become a power player in the porn world thanks to his role in propelling Girlfriends Films into such a strong position in the lesbian market, helping change the way lesbian action is portrayed on the small screen … ‘Women Seeking Women 100’ has a great deal of strokability and replay value.”
The 30th Annual XRCO Awards Show will be held April 16 at OHM (formerly Highlands Hollywood), in Hollywood, Calif.
