Good Vibrations Wins XBIZ Progressive Retailer of the Year

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco-based adult retailer Good Vibrations was awarded the Progressive Retailer of the Year award and its president, Joel Kaminsky, received the prestigious XBIZ Progressive Leadership Award.

As a 38-year business vet, Kaminsky said he was delighted to be honored for this chapter of his career as president of Good Vibrations.

“We are proud to be honored and we are happy to see Joel acknowledged for his contributions to this industry and the growth of our company,” Executive Vice President Jackie Strano said. “I know I speak for Joel as well when I say that this is a team effort and involves the entire company’s tireless efforts to always evolve, stay relevant and help people feel empowered and authentic around their sexual health and sexual desires.”

Kaminsky presented the keynote address at the Retail Conference, which assembled adult industry members from all aspects of the trade to explore business strategy, discuss the future, merchandising, marketing, best practices and more. Strano, Purchasing Manger Coyote Days and Staff Sexologist Dr. Carol Queen also contributed on a variety of panels during the four day gathering of adult industry leaders.

Good Vibrations recently opened its eighth store, located in San Francisco’s upscale financial district, and continues to do business online.
