Mission Mobile Loyalty Kiosk Bows

LOS ANGELES — Mobile communications and marketing solutions provider Mission Mobile has introduced its Text Messaging Loyalty Kiosk.

The station makes it easy for customers to sign up for loyalty rewards, join a mobile club or redeem a mobile coupon, the company said.

“Loyalty programs for retailers are a growing trend,” Mission Mobile Steven Levine told XBIZ. “Studies show retaining existing customers is more cost effective than targeting new ones. “According to the Harvard Business Review, ‘customer loyalty is the single most important driver of growth and profitability.’ Further research conducted by a Deloitte Retail Survey showed that retailers with a loyalty program are 88 percent more profitable than their competitors that don’t have one.”

The Loyalty Kiosk is an on-site service that works from an iPad or Android tablet and can be customized. Customers can use it to enter their phone number and join mobile clubs or loyalty programs.

Levine said installing the loyalty kiosk, which requires Wi-Fi acees, is simple.

“Mission provides tablets and security stands for retailers that need them,” Levine said. “We help the retailer set up the campaigns in the system, the retailer can place the Kiosk (Tablet) near the register or some other strategic location in the store and they are ready to go.”

Retailers are provided support via phone and email, Levine said.

“We work with the retailers to make sure their campaigns are set up properly, review reporting with them and to make suggestions to improve results,” he said. “We also show the retailers how they can leverage their existing marketing with the same mobile services that power the Loyalty Kiosk and build a mobile list to further drive sales.”

The Loyalty Kiosk allows retailers to create a database of customers to send text messaging promotions, mobile coupons, special offers to. It also provides reporting and tracking of promotions.
