CineKink Launches Kickstarter for 11th Annual ‘Kinky Film Festival’

RAHWAY, New Jersey — CineKink, the annual film festival and national screening tour dedicated to “celebrating and exploring the wide diversity of sexuality,” has launched its first-ever Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.

“By partnering with us and making a donation, you play an essential role in helping us to encourage and promote sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film, video and television, and in creating a community that shares in the celebration of kinky culture,” said Lisa Vandever, co-Founder and Director of CineKink. “With a decade of sexy cinema under our belt, we¹re looking forward to what’s ahead; with your help, let’s make this season the best and biggest one yet.”

Ranging from the basic $1 Sloppy Kisses and $50 One-Night Stand donation levels, to the grander $500 Group Love and $1000 Hey, Big Spender! options, the CineKink Kickstarter campaign offers participants a variety of perks, including gala and red carpet admission, participation in the CineKink festival jury, all-access passes, swag bags, reserved seats and more.

To be held Feb. 25-March 2, the 11th annual CineKink NYC will feature a curated program of films and videos that explore a wide diversity of sexual expression. In addition to screenings, plans for the six-day festival also include a short film competition, audience choice awards, an adult entertainment showcase and a gala kick-off event, along with retrospective screenings commemorating ten years of kinky programming.

A national tour will follow, showcasing audience favorites from the NYC festival selections in cities including Chicago, L.A., San Francisco, D.C., Seattle, Portland, Miami and Berlin.

With offerings drawn from both the independent cinema and adult worlds, works presented at CineKink NYC will range from “documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, slightly spicy to quite explicit — and everything in between.”
