Fuckbook Grabs XBIZ Award for Dating Site of the Year

LOS ANGELES — Fuckbook.com, the social networking site for adults and casual dating, was named People's Choice Dating Site of the Year at the 2014 XBIZ Awards, a fan-voted accolade.

“We are honored to accept this award as a statement [of] our continued dedication to delivering a truly unique experience for Fuckbook’s members,” Fuckbook Founder Fabian said. “This award means a lot to us because it was made possible by our fans and members, who are so important to us. We would like to thank everyone who voted for Fuckbook.”

Fuckbook features more than 6,700,000 profiles and offers members control of their privacy, the company said. The site facilitates potential hookups through a variety of communication options, including private message and real-time instant messenger. Users also can send each other virtual gifts, share specific and private photos and reach out to them a number of other ways.

According to site reps, “this adult social networking site brings users all of the popular communication features that today’s social media-obsessed culture is hooked on.”

Just like widely used social networking sites, Fuckbook members build a friends list that they can add people to, maintain a blog section and create unlimited photo albums. Users can comment on photos and blogs and network with people, similar to other leading social networking sites.

Hosted by adult film superstar Jenna Jameson, the XBIZ Awards were presented on Jan. 24 in Century City, Calif., as part of the XBIZ 360 event series.
