DIMOCO Sponsoring European Summit Happy Hour

BARCELONA, Spain —  European mobile payment provider DIMOCO  announced that it is sponsoring a happy hour event at the European Summit set for March 5-8 in Barcelona, Spain.

The company said it is inviting its partners to the networking event to be held on March 5, from 5-5:50 p.m. in the Lizard CLC music club in the Hotel Calipolis.

On hand will be CEO Gerald Tauchner who said DIMOCO is happy to continue its great partnership with TES and to be part of this industry hotspot again.

A topic for discussion is the company's recently published white paper in collaboration with Juniper Research, that it said has proven that mobile payment is the ideal billing method for digital content.

DIMOCO noted that direct carrier billing implementations have seen 10-14 times the conversion rate of credit card initial transaction rates and content providers have also seen average transaction values rise by more than 40 percent. The European digital content market is expected to grow from an estimated 15.8 billion euros in 2012 to just under 29 billion euros in 2017, according to the research.

“The online entertainment industry is one of the main drivers in the mobile payment market. We are delighted to have supported this industry right from the beginning,” Tauchner said.
