HOLLWOOD, Calif. — Adult review website XCritic.com has announced the winners of its annual XCritic Awards.
The organizers said the Awards are selected by the staff of XCritic.com. which nominates the talent, titles and directors for each category from thousands of titles. Senior staff sorts through the nominations to select the final Awards.
This year’s Awards spanned the better part of a month and included re-viewing of many titles. The awards are limited to just 22 categories.
"Our reviewers vote in almost every one of the major adult awards, so the XCritic Awards is a preview of some of the things to come this award season,” explained Chris Thorne, editor of XCritic.com. "It's sort of like the porn equivalent of the Golden Globe or Independent Spirit Awards of porn which both come before the Oscars.”
