VALENCIA, Calif. — Girlfriends Films announced that the 100th installment of its acclaimed series, “Women Seeking Women,” would be released on Dec. 24.
The studio said that the special two-disc collector’s edition DVD features four brand new scenes, plus four bonus scenes.The additional scenes are the series’ four most popular lesbian pairings ever, as chosen by fans.
“Watching thousands of copies of ‘Women Seeking Women 100’ ship from our warehouse to distributors and stores around the world was one of the proudest moments of my life,” Girlfriends Films owner Dan O’Connell, said. “The series has always held a special place in my life, and it’s incredible to see how fans and critics have embraced it for one-hundred volumes.”
The first disc of “Women Seeking Women: Volume 100” is composed of new scenes, that O’Connell maintained are four of the best scenes filmed by the studio over the course of 2013.The scenes include: Heather Starlet and RayVeness,; Ariella Ferrera, India Summer, and Zoey Holloway; Prinzzess and Veruca James and Bonnie Rotten and Dana DeArmond.
The second disc includes scenes with Brea Bennett and Cody Milo ("Women Seeking Women 19"); Lena Nicole and Faye Reagan ("Women Seeking Women 36"); Prinzzess and Tori Black ("Women Seeking Women 49") and Dana DeArmond and Syd Blakovich ("Women Seeking Women 54").
Girlfriends said that throughout September and October of 2013, fans were invited to submit their favorite scenes from the series spanning the past 11 years. The four most frequently submitted scenes were chosen for Volume 100’s bonus disc.
“Sales for ‘Women Seeking Women 100’ have been outstanding,” Vice President Moose, said. “We’ve reached one major milestone through the movie’s release, but I believe once all the copies ship and re-orders begin pouring in, we may reach another — our bestselling all-girl movie ever.”
Filmed in high definition with three Sony XDCAM cameras, the new film includes a hardcore and glamour photo gallery, plus trailers to other popular Girlfriends Films movies.The movie is presented in a 16:9 widescreen format.
