SIMI VALLEY, Calif. — The Santa Susana Pass Location, a multi-building complex with three houses, a glass-walled pavilion, and picturesque gardens, is now available for location shoots and private functions, the operators announced.
Located 10 minutes north of the San Fernando Valley, the private facility is now accepting inquiries from producers and party planners.
"We've been renting it out for shoots and parties on a word-of mouth basis, and the reaction has been terrific," a spokesperson said. "For your shoot, whether you need a small one-bedroom house or a giant mansion, we have it here, and we can help you throw a party your guests will never forget or stage a seminar for 20 to 200 people."
The three houses include a modest one-bedroom vacation-rental cottage, a two-bedroom ranch house, and a massive 4700-square-foot six-bedroom mansion with indoor pool and sauna. There is also a second-story glass-walled pavilion, gardens and walking trails that can serve as outdoor background for many production needs.
The Santa Susana Pass Location is fenced and surrounded by vacant land, offering security and privacy. There is close parking for 25 cars, which can be used for production trucks, and an on-site lot offering parking for 150 more cars. The facility has Wi-Fi, which is available with site rental for no extra charge. The Santa Susana Pass Location is currently available for full-day rentals.
All rentals of the Santa Susana Pass Location require liability insurance. The renter can provide proof of insurance or purchase participation in the property’s standing insurance policy. Other stipulations also apply.
