Milton’s journey will take him through the Atlas Mountains located in northwest Africa, to the Sahara Desert. The CEO will maintain a website during his trip, which will be updated daily with blogs, videos and pictures. There is a link on the site for individuals or companies to make donations to AIDS charities as well.
What began as a conversation between Milton and his friend, Zemtex Medical CEO Dave Moran, makers of Private brand condoms, spawned into a multiplatform charity drive that extends to a celebrity golf tournament in March 2007 organized by Zemtex Medical. All the proceeds of the golf tournament will be donated to stopping the spread of AIDS in Africa. The event is being held in collaboration with The United Nations and Red Cross.
Zemtex Medical is a Belgium-based healthcare company with more than 50 years experience that specializes in producing and distributing condoms for retail store chains.
While in Africa on his offroading adventure, Milton will personally deliver donations to various medical centers that specialize in combating AIDS, or counseling abused women. Additional monetary donations will come from personal friends and companies in the adult industry that support Milton’s cause.
Milton said his upcoming trip is in preparation for a larger one he is planning that will take him across the entire African continent. Milton, whose father Berth Sr. founded Private, will deliver condoms sponsored by Zemtex and will make personal monetary donations to hospitals and medical centers.
