AEBN Inks Dark Alley Media

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — AEBN plans to offer gay porn fans more viewing choices through its partnership with New York’s gritty, gay production studio Dark Alley Media.

AEBN’s pay-per-view theater features 15 titles from Dark Alley, and will be adding “Quickies” starring Aaron King soon.

“We’re very excited to have Dark Alley Media on board,” AEBN’s Chris Baker said. “Their content is really hot and it’s definitely something different in the gay market. They’ve certainly succeeded in doing what they set out to do and our customers will love it.”

Founded in 2004, Dark Alley Media is known in the gay community for producing unique movies that depict passionate but rough sex scenes.

“We do not want to show you the same limited and predictable vision you have already seen enough of,” Dark Alley’s Mattias Von Fistenberg said. “[Dark Alley looks for] realism, dramatic fast-paced action [combined with] a mixture of people and emotions. This is what New York is about. This is where we’re from. This is Dark Alley Media.”

Dark Alley’s best-known film is the award winning “Mutiny: Shipmate’s Revenge,” which won an award for best specialty release in 2005. The movie is available on VOD in AEBN’s gay section.

“AEBN has a solid reputation as a leader in the VOD industry,” Dark Alley Media’s James Ian said. “It’s great to have our movies available through their theaters and I’m sure that it’ll be a beneficial relationship for both of us.”
