Adam & Eve currently has 15 stores across the country, 14 of which are franchise operations, according to a company spokesman, who said the couple’s friendly retail chain has signed 10 additional franchise agreements, which will yield stores over the next five years.
“We are excited to work with Nick and Dean on this new venture,” Adam & Eve General Manager Jason Hoke said. “We feel Nick’s first-hand knowledge of the adult industry gives him a distinct advantage in this retailing market.”
Founded in 1970 as a mail-order catalog, the company only began offering California franchise licenses for its retail stores in May.
The Manning/Sussman franchise store in West Hollywood will add to the company’s roster of franchise locations that include Florida, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Michigan, which will see its first franchise store open soon.
