Mister B to Open 'Shop-in-Shop' in West Hollywood

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Mister B, the Netherlands-based retailer specializing in homoerotic fetish items, is coming to West Hollywood.

Mister B operators plan on opening its latest "shop-in-shop" store at the 665 Leather store, carrying its rubber clothing and the company’s extensive range of toys.

It will be the first time Mister B  has had a brick-and-mortar retail presence in the U.S. The company, which also supplies wholesalers and retailers worldwide, also operates a retail website.

Mister B spokesman Nelson Sousa da Cunha told XBIZ that the company has high hopes with the installation at 665 Leather

"This way American customers — especially in the Los Angeles area — will have access to a part of our collection," Sousa da Cunha said. "This is also to get a bit more feeling with the US. Our goal is to venture out more into the U.S. eventually."

Mister B, in business for 20 years, operates its full-line stores in Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin, where customers can find the entire Mister fetish gear and toys collection.

The West Hollywood store, celebrating a grand opening Jan. 10, will offer a select collection of Mister B products, like other shop-in-shop outlets.

Mister B has shop-in-shop stores within existing retailers in Dortmund (Demask), London (Expectations), Cologne (Mega Gay World),  Montreal (Fétiche Armada), Johannesburg (Sexplicit), Warsaw (reFForm Fetish Store), Budapest (Black Dream), Wiesbaden (Adam & Eva Erotikshop), Amsterdam (blackbody), Melbourne (MannHaus), Brussels (BorisBoy), Antwerp (Man Playz), Oslo (Duo Shop), Aarau (Pig Dreams) and Lyon (Dogklub).

Mister B's West Hollywood store will open at 8722 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, Calif., at the 665 Leather store.
