Rising Star PR Clients Receive 31 Nominations for XBIZ Awards

VENICE, Calif. — Adult entertainment publicity firm, Rising Star PR, announced that its clients have received 31 nominations for the 2014 XBIZ Awards on Jan. 24 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, Calif.

“This has been an outstanding year,” the Rising Star PR founder said earlier this week after getting the last of the clients’ announcement press releases sent out. “We’ve been fortunate to work with excellent clients throughout the years and to help them develop their careers. Every year we think it can’t get better, but it always does. It’s an honor to work with so many amazing people.”

Dana Vespoli received the most nominations with six, including Director of the Year – Body of Work. She scored Director of the Year – Non-Feature Release, Gonzo Release of the Year and a Best Scene – Non-Feature Release for "Girl/Boy." Her movie "She’s Come Undone" is also nominated for All-Girl Release of the Year, while she received a nom for MILF Performer of the Year.

Remy LaCroix, who took home the Best Actress trophy for Torn (New Sensations) last year, leads RSPR performers with five nominations. She is nominated for Female Performer of the Year, twice for Best Actress (for New Sensations’ "The Temptation of Eve" and Smash Pictures’ "Broken Hearts") and has two Best Scene noms. She also starred in seven movies in the running for Release of the Year in various categories, and "The Temptation of Eve" is up for Feature Movie of the Year.

Bonnie Rotten also scored a Female Performer of the Year nomination and two Best Scene noms, one from "The Gang Bang of Bonnie Rotten" (Digital Sin) and another for "Obedience School" (Kevin Moore/Evil Angel)

Kelly Madison received a nomination for MILF Performer of the Year, while she and husband Ryan Madison share noms for BDSM Release of the Year for their huge "Get My Belt" and Adult Site of the Year for their Pornfidelity.com. She’s also up for Web Star of the Year.

Transsexual star Venus Lux received a nod for Transsexual Performer of the Year and for Transsexual Site of the Year for her Venus-Lux.com. She starred in five titles nominated for Transsexual Release of the Year.

Brandy Aniston scored a Best Supporting Actress nomination for "Not the Wizard of Oz XXX" (X-Play/Pulse) and her star vehicle, "Breaking Bad XXX: A Sweet Mess Films Parody" (Sweet Mess Films/Exquisite Films). She also starred in "Trashy" (Rock Star Entertainment/Adam & Eve), which is up for All-Sex Release of the Year.

Britney Amber is nommed for Best Actress – Parody Release for "Barbwire XXX: A DreamZone Parody" (DreamZone Entertainment). Casey Calvert was recognized with Best Scene – Feature Movie for her work in "Homecoming" (Skow for Girlfriends Films). Jenna Haze’s Jennaration X Studios’ "Meow! 3" is nominated for All-Girl Release of the Year and for Best Scene – All-Girl. Cam performer Mitsuko Doll received a nomination for Web Star of the Year.

Romi Rain is nominated for Best New Starlet and starred in "Ink Girls" (Wicked Pictures), which is up for Vignette Release of the Year. Sovereign Syre received a nom for Best Actress, All-Girl Release for Lesbian "One Night Stand" (Girl Candy Films/Pulse) and starred in two movies up for All-Girl Release of the Year.

Jessa Rhodes, who will be a Trophy Girl at the XBIZ Awards, is nominated for Best New Starlet and Best Scene – Vignette Release for "Family Business" (Digital Sin).

“The XBIZ Awards is always one of the best nights of the year, and we’re hoping this one will be special,” RSPR partner Acme Andersson said. “We’re having two wheelbarrows specially made for the show and we hope they’ll be overflowing by the end of the night. We have the best roster we’ve ever had we are confident it will be an amazing night.”
