PinkCherry Reports Record November Sales

TORONOTO — Canadian online retailer of sex toys and lingerie, PinkCherry, reported a record month in wholesale and retail sales for November, the highest since the site’s launch in 2008.

The company attributed a 40 percent year-over-year increase in growth to an eager Canadian market that it said was lacking a reliable and affordable Canadian-based site to purchase adult novelties.

“We saw a gap in the market in Canada and we pounced on it with a winning formula,” explained  PinkCherry CEO Daniel Freedman. “PinkCherry is the story of a thriving business that started from scratch but is also a testament to a huge and growing interest in the sex toy industry in Canada.”

Freedman added that sales for both retail and wholesale were boosted by Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and overall sales are strong and consistent going into the holiday season.

“As the weather cools down, business is getting hotter. At PinkCherry we are fully committed to making sure there will be no silent nights this Christmas."
