CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Devil’s Film received seven 2014 XBIZ Award nominations in four different categories.
The studio’s “Angelic Asses” series received a nomination for All-Sex Release of the Year, while “The Seduction of Riley Reid” received the vote for All-Girl Release of the Year.
“America’s Top Tranny” series also snagged a nom, as well as nods for Transsexual Studio of the Year and three nominations for Transsexual Release of the Year.
“Since I’ve taken over the production this year at Devil's, it's fuckin' killer to see this many noms in so many different genres,” said Steve Volponi, Devil’s vice president of production. “I'm wearing the key to the trophy case in our lobby around my neck and I’ll gladly shift some shit around in there to make room for more awards.”
Since the studio’s corporate restructuring earlier this year, the production company has made strides in expanding its international and domestic distribution and ramping up its production schedule.
Volponi added, “We’ve got a great team here at Devil’s, and now we have the resources behind us to make things happen. We’re excited about the future and we hope our customers and fans are as well.”
Hosted by adult film superstar Jenna Jameson, the XBIZ Awards ceremony will take place on January 24 in Century City, Calif. amidst the XBIZ 360 event series.
