Nikki Phoenix to Collaborate on EDM Track With DJ Nilsson

LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Nikki Phoenix has begun work on her first music release in her favorite music genre, electronic dance music.

The release will be a joint effort with DJ Nilsson, who is the resident DJ for top Las Vegas hotspots XS, Tryst and Drai's.

Veteran director Miles Long, who's close connections to the entertainment and music scene in Las Vegas made the union possible, thought the pair would make a strong team.

"Nikki has already hosted numerous major events in Las Vegas at well known venues, and she has a great voice, as well as a true passion for EDM just as I do," Long said.

Said DJ Nilsson, "After talking with my good friend Miles Long, we thought it would be a great idea to have her do the vocals on my next release, and we've already begun work on the track."

The pair plans to debut the first song in January.

Long continued, "My first job out after graduating from college was as a club promoter for the now legendary Sound Factory San Francisco, so to say that I have a passion for EDM is an understatement.

"I've grown up with it and it is truly part of my life. My good friend DJ Nilsson, is one of my favorite DJs anywhere, not only because of the amazing vibe he brings to a room when he spins, but also because he shares a deep love of EDM and has a passion for creating it himself."

It has been a busy year for Phoenix, who has appeared in the mainstream movie  "21 and Over" and on the "Maury Show." She also became a spokesmodel for Twala Intimates, a high-end lingerie company based in Seattle, and Crimestopper Security Products, where she is the voice for their flagship FS-99 Fortress Alarm.

In addition, her book "Fit As A Phoenix" has just been finished and documents her unique approach to health and fitness, her weight loss as well as her recipes for cooking healthy meals to go along with one's workout schedule.

Phoenix's efforts were recognized with a nomination for XBIZ Crossover Star of the Year for the 2014 XBIZ Awards.
