Under the terms of the three-year deal, Buck Angel Entertainment will produce one title per month for Shots Video to distribute throughout Europe.
After working independently as a transsexual performer in a handful of titles for companies such as Robert Hill Releasing and Titan Men, Angel formed his own studio two years ago under another name. He relaunched it under the Buck Angel Entertainment label last year.
Shots Video serves as the European distributor for many prominent adult production studios including Vivid, Acid Rain, Extreme 2.0, Seymore Butts, NJ Films and Maximum Grind. Shots Video also produces its own content under the same name. The company also produces and distributes its own line of adult toys.
Buck Angel Entertainment has released three titles: “V for Vagina,” “Adventures of Buck Naked” and “Buck Off,” in which Angel produces, directs and stars.
A spokesperson for Angel told XBIZ that Shots Video executives pursued a distribution deal with the company after meeting Angel at the Venus Berlin fair last year.
