LONDON — U.K. adult star Tanya Tate is set to host Television X’s 2013 SHAFTA Awards in London on Dec. 5.
Tate said she has attained some of her greatest successes working with Television X. “Weird Science XXX,” “Tanya Tate’s Sex Tour of Scotland,” and her tabloid show “Tanya Tate’s Sex Tour of Ireland,” which landed her in the mainstream headlines across England and Ireland, are a few of Tanya's series that have been broadcast via Television X.
The SHAFTA Awards celebrate adult movies and series made in the U.K.
“I am so honored to be hosting the SHAFTA Awards,” Tanya said. “Television X has been an important part of my career, so when I was asked to host, I immediately said yes. I look forward to an exciting night, it’s going to be the party of the year.”
In addition to hosting duties, Tate is also nominated for Best MILF Best Amateur Series, and Best New Series.
Should Tanya win Best MILF, this would be her 4th consecutive year taking home the SHAFTA honor.
To encourage fan voting for the Awards, Tate is offering tickets to the after party to five fans who show devotion by re-tweeting or promoting her nominations until Nov. 30.
