BURBANK, Calif. — Digital Playground’s new erotic crime-thriller “Quick Sand” starring Chanel Preston and Tommy Gunn will street this Tuesday.
“‘Quicksand’ is a throwback to those old police procedurals where the good guys have an hour to solve the crime,” said Robby D, the film’s writer and director. “We get a little more time to tell our story because our characters keep getting naked and distracted. It’s really a lot of fun; very stylish and very erotic.”
“Quick Sand” finds homicide detectives, played by Preston and Gunn, working a case at a local beach community where homeowners keep turning up dead. At a glance, the victims appear to be casualties of robberies gone wrong. But after speaking with a group of sexy female lifeguards claiming to be witnesses, Preston and Gunn soon suspect otherwise.
“Eroticism is always heightened when there is an element of danger,” said James, creative director for Digital Playground. “‘Quicksand,’ with its suspenseful mystery and clandestine sex scenes, provides those elevated thrills in spades. Add to that a cast of beautiful women and handsome men, and Robby D’s cinematic eye, and you’ve got something really special here.”
“Quicksand” also stars Anikka Albrite, Helly Hellfire, Teal Conrad, Bill Bailey, Mick Blue, Xander Corvus and James Deen. The DVD includes a behind-the-Scenes featurette, exclusive photo gallery and bonus trailers.
