Skow's 'Daddy's Girls,' 'Rabbit Hole' Land Editor's Choices

VALENCIA, CALIF. — Skow for Girlfriends Films’ new controversial family drama “Daddy’s Girls” and its all-anal gonzo “Down the Rabbit Hole” have both earned Editor’s Choice reviews in the October issue of XBIZ, Girlfriends Films announced.

“The company that branded itself with reliable, lesbian-themed fare not only dove into producing boy/girl movies a year ago, it's already swimming in the deep end of the pool,” Managing Editor Dan Miller noted in his Editor’s Choice Retail Newsletter.

“On the strength of the bold script from industry veteran David Stanley, realistic performances and Skow's measured direction, ‘Daddy's Girls’ is easily one of the most provocative films of the year. “The company also went gonzo with Skow's ‘Down the Rabbit Hole,’ which takes Girlfriends into more uncharted territory,” Miller continued. “It appears to be a sign of more things to come from the studio, which is now releasing a range of movies that are changing everything we thought we knew about the brand.”

Designated by B. Skow as the best film of his career, “Daddy’s Girls” stars Maddy O’Reilly and Riley Reid. O’Reilly plays Samantha, a blind 18-year-old girl on suicide watch after she’s dumped by Dale, her father’s best friend and the man who forcibly took her virginity.

Reid plays Dale’s daughter, Quincy, a sex-cam performer infatuated with her dad and determined to steal him away from her mother.

In his Editor’s Choice review of “Daddy’s Girls,” Jared Rutter writes “Girlfriends Films pushes the envelope like never before with this B. Skow feature. It’s a dysfunctional family melodrama with outrageous situations, heavy-breathing dialogue and surprisingly believable characters.”

Rutter also gives praise to the “Daddy’s Girls” cast. “Knight, always underrated, gives a career-best performance as the ultimately repentant dad,” Rutter writes.

“Maddy is haunting and vulnerable, and Riley is the trash-talking slut of every parent’s worst nightmare. All have been excellently directed by Skow, who deserves much credit for bringing off such an off-the-wall project.”

“Down the Rabbit Hole” marks Skow’s anal movie debut and features performances by Holly Michaels, Asphyxia Noir, Chastity Lynn, Alysha Rylee, Jayden Lee, Ralph Long, Billy Glide, and Jerry.

“[Skow for Girlfriends Films] gives us one of the best gonzos currently on the market,” writes Janos Skorzeny in his Editor’s Choice review. “And it’s not packed with three or four anal princesses—but five. All of ’em well-shot young beauties being passionate and nasty.

"This stuff is what porn is really all about. ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ is truly one of the most satisfying, all-anal, babe-enriched titles you’ll find out there today.”
