LISBON, Portugal — The Hot Channel announced it is now available on MEO, which is the Portugal Telecom subscription satellite service, making it the only national adult channel available to all MEO customers on all platforms.
With this breakthrough, Hot Channel reports that it is the first Portuguese adult channel to broadcast in all the country's TV subscription platforms, in addition to mobile and Internet.
Upon the launch of the channel, Hot Gold and MEO launched a campaign for new subscriptions. All MEO satellite clients that subscribe to Hot will be able to see the channel at no cost until Dec. 31, 2013 as part of the campaign.
Currently, the Hot Channel claims more than 30,000 clients, making it the most viewed adult-themed channel in the country. It was launched three-and-a-half years ago.
