LOS ANGELES — Miles Long will be celebrating his birthday this month at the Colony Nightclub.
He will be hosting the celebration along with friends Gracie Glam, Capri Cavanni, Celeste Star and Nikki Phoenix on Oct. 26.
"It really made sense to have Miles throw his birthday party here with us at the Colony,” said Jamie Barren, CEO of JBP Entertainment.
"Not only is has he helped us throw enormously successful events in the past, but he's also been instrumental in marshalling social media promotion as well as ideas for the event itself. In addition, Gracie, Capri, Celeste and Nikki and their friends will all be there as well so when you come to the Colony on Saturday the 26th and get a table, you will actually get to meet Miles and all the starlets hosting the event.”
In addition to Long’s busy DVD and Internet schedule, he has been publishing layouts in both mainstream and adult magazines, with multiple layouts appearing in adult magazines this month as well as two additional layouts running in upcoming issues of mainstream magazines.
He is shooting the catalog this month for Twala Intimates, a Seattle-based lingerie company.
After nearly a decade of contributions that include performing, directing, producing, art direction, writing, photography, videography and more, Long said he is enjoying his journey into the mainstream photography market, while maintaining his presence and clients in the adult market space.
"I like to say that I have really been lucky over the years,” he said. “Thanks to my drive, work ethic and my many mentors, I have really been able to thrive, even when markets have been difficult in one area or another. I think luck is really a combination of experience and opportunity. If you have both, then you are what people call lucky. Just as I have done in the adult photography and video markets, I knew that I just had to find the right arenas to showcase the style of photography work that I have become known for.
“I'm really glad that my relationship with Twala Intimates and our successful events in the past year have led to being able to shoot their upcoming catalog collection and marketing campaign. I have already done numerous billboard ad and marketing campaigns for adult clients here in L.A. and mainstream clients in Las Vegas, but this will be my first catalog shoot for a high-end lingerie company and I'm flattered that they have asked me to shoot it.”
