VALENCIA, Calif. — Girlfriends Films is set to release the next volume in its popular “Pin-Up Girls” series on Oct. 22.
The new DVD, “Pin-Up Girls: Volume 8” streets 15 months after the previous installment that the studio said set sales records for the series that features vintage lingerie.
In the new volume of the all-girl series, Girlfriends' contract performers Prinzzess, RayVeness, Jelena Jensen, Taylor Vixen, Jayden Cole, and Zoe Britton star, as well as newcomers Siri and Keira Kelly.
Vixen and Britton pair up the first scene, while Cole and Siri connect in scene two. Jensen then takes her turn with Siri in scene three, while RayVeness welcomes Kelly to “Sapphic passion” in the final scene.
Girlfriends said the film transports viewers back in time when a taboo business venture begins with pin-up photos, but quickly lends itself to producing steamy, lesbian stag films sold in the back of popular “girly magazines.” As the models become increasingly comfortable with each other, they enter into lascivious romances and inadvertently buck the patriarchal ideas characterizing the era.
Filmed in high definition with three Sony XDCAM cameras, the film includes a hardcore and glamour photo gallery, plus trailers to other Girlfriends' movies. The movie is presented in 16:9 widescreen format.
