Under the terms of the deal, Totalmass will deliver the entire 3 Vision library worldwide in the form of video clips, wallpapers and ring tones.
3 Vision entered the adult industry marketplace two years ago and produces primarily wall-to-wall and gonzo content. The company also has shot two feature films.
3 Vision’s content library currently numbers at 30 full-length DVD releases and the company has filmed content all over the world, including the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland.
3 Vision CEO Allan Smith said the company’s deal with Totalmass is non-exclusive, with the mobile company licensing a limited number of exclusive photosets for mobile handset distribution.
“We had been looking for additional mobile licensing deals for a while,” Smith told XBIZ. “Totalmass was referred to us through a European contact and came to our offices to present their package of services. [Totalmass CEO Duane Wilson] comes from a mobile tech background, and the company has a solid business plan.”
The Sacramento, Calif.-based Totalmass’s mobile content delivery system works through a multi-country (P)SMS gateway. By creating off-carrier web and WAP portals, Totalmass is seeking to provide access for adult content publishers to monetize their content on mobile devices.
3 Vision’s next movie is “Mixed Company 2” starring Cherry Poppens, Holly Wellin, Lani Lei, Asia and Amanda. It releases on Sept. 18.
