KIEV, Ukraine — Event organizers Dynamics-Expo held its second annual X Planet adult industry fair on Sept. 20-22 at Acco International in Kiev.
X Planet gathered international company representatives, distributors and resellers of lingerie and erotic accessories, and featured presentations of new brands and products, as well as discussions about sexual health, lifestyle and psychology.
X Planet 2013 also hosted the seventh Ukrainian erotic dance festival, Alter Ego, that featured pole dancing, and a striptease show from 21st Century Club and women’s art club Red Cap. The show featured lingerie fashion, including the Kiss Me erotic lingerie show from Scala Playhouse. Shibari workshops from Aleksandr Voronin and Lia Kiss and psychology master classes from Love Is Educational Center also were held.
Sexology experts from the Association of Sexology and Andrology of Ukraine conducted workshops and discussions concerned with sexual health. Industry specialists had the opportunity to join in on the Expert Day program, which became a platform for networking and new business opportunities.
Among the participating companies were Softland Ukraine, IMPEXGROUP, Promodo and Netpeak. The event allowed companies to report on professional topics regarding the industry and partake in conference speeches.
Manufacturers such as Pipedream Products, CalExotics, Scala Playhouse, We-Vibe, G-Vibe, Tonga-Ukraine, Ego, Bioritm Laboratory and Nasoloda offered presentations on new products.
“It is an interesting market, still growing, running a little behind European, but with a good perspective of growing,” said Raymond Houtenbos, Pipedream product brand ambassador in Europe. “I participate in this fair to sell our products, explain and launch new products and help Ukrainian customers in a best possible way. I see good quality people and serious businessman at this show and it’s a good base to have an erotic fair in this country.”
We-Vibe’s Ellen ten Brink said, “This is my first time in Kiev and participation in the Ukrainian erotic fair, and I really enjoyed the booth, assortment and organization. It’s good to be here and learn more about Ukrainian market, and see opportunities for our products in it.”
According to show organizers, among X Planet’s attendees were sex shop owners and specialists of the industry from Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine who visited the show looking for business opportunities. X Planet event organizers said they are glad that the X Planet project attracted “a considerable interest from local, national and international media networks.”
