LOS ANGELES — Porn star Allie Haze reviewed Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s film featuring a porno-loving protagonist “Don Jon” on NextMovie. She liked it so much that she gave it two thumbs up and said she wouldn’t mind getting on a XXX set with at least three of its stars.
Haze, who has starred in “Star Wars XXX,” “Clerks XXX” and “All About Allie,” says she knows "a little bit" about porn and uses her special credentials to pick apart a plot that centers around one man’s complicated relationship with it.
“I was really impressed with the way he used porn to more or less send a message on love, not just about … sex,” she told the mainstream movie news site after giving it four (out of five) stars.
“I would definitely watch Joseph Gordon-Levitt in a porno, even before he quote ‘beefed himself up’ for his Jersey role,” she continued. “I definitely think he is a very attractive and talented man — I want to get in his brain. I want to know where he came up with the whole concept for the movie.”
She added that she would love to have “Don Jon” co-stars Scarlett Johansson and Tony Danza as porn co-stars as well, but wouldn’t pick a preferred bed mate between Gordon-Levitt and Johansson, insteading opting for an imagined threesome.
Besides its Hollywood A-list cast, the film dedicates screen time to clips of some of today’s most prominent adult stars, including Alexis Texas, Misty Stone and Danni Danniels.
Haze took note: “A big eye opener for me was seeing the replay clips of some of the porno he chose, because those are lot of my friends and travel buddies and people that I really work well with.
“I was definitely sitting here in the screening room crossing my fingers that my face, or my butt or a boob would pop up on there.”
