Baci Lingerie Kicks Off ILS With Customer Appreciation Dinner

LAS VEGAS – Baci Lingerie celebrated its nationwide retailers with a dinner party to kick off the International Lingerie Show at the Rio Hotel and Casino. (photo gallery)

The invite-only event was held at Buzios Seafood Restaurant, where retailers mingled with ECN and XGEN staff, as well as industry personality Emily Morse.

While Baci Lingerie has hosted similar dinner events in the past, Baci Lingerie Director of Sales and Operations Alicia Sinclair told XBIZ that the latest event was a bit more casual.

“Previously we’ve hosted charity events with speeches and individual honors but this time we just wanted an opportunity to bring together all of our retailers for a fun event,” she said. “Often we get so busy during the show that we don’t get the chance to meet with everyone so this gives us a great opportunity to all come together.”

Baci Lingerie owner Frank Koretsky kicked off the event by thanking staff members Ken H., Alicia Sinclair, Andy Green and Adella Curry.

“[And] thanks to all the customers for coming. If it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t have anything,” Koretsky said. “This year has been a crazy year. It’s been one year now since Baci has been under my command. This past year we’ve made a lot of positive changes and we’re going to continue to make changes.”

Koretsky told guests of a new Hong Kong office, while noting recent changes to its U.S. operations.

“Since this is an international company, this Hong Kong office will help serve more distributors all over the world,” he said. “This year we changed distribution by giving XGEN the exclusive distribution in North America. Andy Green has done a sensational job serving customers and of course has made our life a lot easier. He’s got inventory and always on the ball.”

In his speech, Koretsky also alerted Baci retailers of new products and the addition of a new buyer, Kim. "With all these new collection we’ve added new staff and hope the rest of 2013 is very successful for all of you,” he said. “I would like everyone to stop by the booth to check out the new corsets. We think it’s a fantastic line. We’ve had some new designers help us with this line and we have a fetish line coming out, and catalogs for both the lines. We’re going to have photography and videos – we’re starting these collections properly so that they’re small and manageable for the store level and distribution around the world. We’ve worked really hard to put these collections together and hope that they are successful.”

XGEN Products President Andy Green added, “It’s nice to see customers from across the country representing all types of stores from independent mom and pop stores to chain stores, and online retailers. Everyone seems really excited for the new collection coming out that we’re going to show this week and we’re looking forward to a good show.”

In addition to Baci’s new corset line, Green said XGEN Products will be presenting new planograms for the Dreams collection, as well as new Lapdance styles, Pleasure Wigs and the Bodywand Aqua, a new fully submersible rendition of its wand massager.
