NEW YORK — StaggStreet.com owner Ellen Stagg and burlesque curator Wasabassco have joined forces to present a 2014 calendar featuring New York’s burlesque and side show performers.
Every year there is a new theme. For 2014, the selected theme is cosplay.
“I really can’t think of what goes better with naked ladies than to dress them up as your favorite comic book heroes, sci-fi movie ladies, video game vixens, TV nerd sexpots and more," Stagg said.
“This project has taken all summer to bring to fruition and what a wonderful ride it’s been. To have been able to work with the most amazing show in the world, Wasabassco, has been a true treat.”
The 2014 Wasabassco Cosplay Calendar features Hazel Honeysuckle, Nasty Canasta, Sapphire Jones, Poison Ivory, Penny Wren, Evelyn Vinyl, Medianoche, Gal Friday, Stella Chuu, Marlo Marquise, Stormy Leather and Amanda Whip.

To celebrate the calendar’s release, Stagg and Wasabassco invite the public to a party at New York’s City Winery, on Friday, Oct. 4, where the ladies of Wasabassco will take to the stage.
