IntimateDVD.com Sends Adult DVDs to Sperm Banks

AUSTIN, Texas — DVD rental and video-on-demand company IntimateDVD.com has found one of the most undeniably innovative ways to promote its service to its core audience — by supplying California reproductive tissue banks (sperm banks) with free DVDs and swag.

“We had lots of friends who were in that position, trying to get pregnant, so we thought it would be a good way to help people out,” IntimateDVD co-owner Mimi Herrman told XBIZ.

IntimateDVD sends care packages to clinics each month containing new DVD samplers along with more promotional items such as coupons and T-shirts.

Herrman said she placed calls to several facilities to see if they’d be interested in free adult material for their clients, and the response was positive.

“Most of them had videos that were dated,” she said. “And the DVDs we’re sending are new and really high quality — Pink Visual and Vivid samplers — so they’ve definitely appreciated it.”

Herrman said legitimate sperm banks interested in receiving free DVDs shipments can contact the company at (512) 275-6370.
