NEW YORK — The Pleasure Chest will open its Upper East Side location this Saturday. The adult retailer’s new storefront is located at 1150 2nd Ave, between 60th and 61st.
The Pleasure Chest Upper East Side will celebrate its soft opening that day from 4 to 6 p.m. with a wine and cheese gathering for its new neighbors. An opening gala is planned for mid-October.
Kristen Tribby, the Pleasure Chest’s director of creative development and strategy, remarked, “Since The Pleasure Chest first opened its doors in the West Village in 1971, we’ve been a proud New York staple. We’re delighted to be bringing our commitment to sex positivity, inclusiveness, and quality uptown with us.”
