Pre-Nominations Open for 2014 XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce that pre-nominations begin today for the industry awards event of the year, the 2014 XBIZ Awards, presented by Fleshlight, on Jan. 24 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, Calif. 

Pre-nominations are being accepted industry-wide for more than 150 different awards categories covering all areas of Movies & Production, Pleasure Products, Web & Technology and Retail & Distribution.

To submit pre-nominations in any of the awards categories, industry professionals must be registered members of the XBIZ.net social network and use the online submission form to record their entries.  

The deadline for all 2014 XBIZ Awards pre-nominations is midnight on Friday, Oct. 11.

In order to be eligible for consideration for a 2014 XBIZ Award, movie and pleasure products must be released between Oct. 15, 2012, and Oct. 11, 2013.  

Upon completing the pre-nomination submission form, XBIZ encourages producers and manufacturers to submit their product samples and marketing materials to:

The 13th annual XBIZ Awards, which will feature adult film superstar Jenna Jameson as master of ceremonies, will mark the climax of an unprecedented seven-event series encompassed in XBIZ 360°, which gets underway on Jan. 22 in LA at the extraordinary W Hollywood Hotel. 

Six new award categories have been added for the 2014 show in an effort to be more inclusive of previously unrecognized market segments and in response to feedback from members of the adult entertainment industry.

In the Movies & Production field, for the first time in XBIZ Awards history, an honor will be given to the most outstanding Girl/Girl Performer of the Year 

In the Web & Tech field, XBIZ will introduce an award for New Site of the Year.

In the Pleasure Products field, two new categories have been added: Fetish Pleasure Product of the Year and Specialty Pleasure Product of the Year

And in the Retail & Distribution field, new awards will be given to the Progressive Retailer of the Year and Progressive Distributor of the Year.
