Victoria's Secret Model Goes 'Cicciolina' for Magazine Photo Shoot

NEW YORK —Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr has taken on the look of Italian porn star Cicciolina in a new photo layout for “V” magazine.

The spread, shot by Sebastian Faena for the edgy fashion publication has Kerr semi-nude in one shot replete with Cicciolina’s signature hippie headbands and flowers.

Other photos mimic Cicciolina’s blonde hair and white lace dresses.

The 61-year old Hungarian-born Italian adult star, whose real name is Ilona Staller, made headlines throughout her career running for a number of Italian political posts, most recently for Rome’s city council.

At the beginning of the Gulf War in 1990, Cicciolina was even prepared to have sex with Saddam Hussein in an effort to restore the peace in the Middle East.

Kerr, an Australian model gained prominence as a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2007 and was the first Australian to participate in the lingerie line’s campaign.

The September issue of “V” features “Miranda As Cicciolina” and describes the shoot as “Bright-eyed beauty Miranda Kerr embodies the Arcadian essence of singer and adult film star Cicciolina, the political leader of Italy's party of love. In delicate lace and soft, sheer statement pieces, this nubile nymph sends a message of exposure.”
