LOS ANGELES — Adam & Eve Pictures has announced that principle casting for the 1950s era sex musical, "Grease XXX: A Parody" has been completed with Riley Reid winning the iconic role of Sandy and Seth Gamble earning the seminal part of Danny.
The musical is being written and directed by Will Ryder, produced by X-Play and executive produced and distributed by Adam & Eve Pictures. The audition process was detailed and lengthy, the director said.
"I want to thank Adam & Eve Pictures for bringing us on board and I think we hit the nail on the head with our cast and I'm very pleased with all of our selections," Ryder said. "Riley Reid is going to be a great Sandy."
"She's cute, beautiful and can play sweet, innocent and hot 'n sexy just like Olivia Newton-John back in the original 1978 movie. I can't believe that most of our girls were not even born when 'Grease' came out."
Reid, the 2013 XBIZ Best New Starlet, said, "I'm really honored to be cast in a parody of such a loved movie by Adam & Eve," adding that it would be her second time working with Ryder.
The supporting cast was equally difficult to select, but the producers are confident with their choices. Trinity St. Clair will play Frenchy, Kiera King will be Rizzo, Brooklyn Chase is Marty, Coco will play Jan, Adriana Chechik will be Cha Cha, Rebecca Bardoux will play Principal McGee and Gaia will join the Rydell student body.
Teaming with Seth Gamble is Richie Calhoun as Kenickie, Anthony Rosano as Sonny, Talon as Doody and Chad Diamond as Putzie. Kurt Lockwood has been cast in a surprise role that will remain a secret until the movie trailer is released.
St. Clair, fresh off of her breast enhancement procedure, caught the attention of the director and was happy to win a role.
"Will kept calling me to make me work hard on the voice of Frenchy as he wanted it just right and when I finally nailed it and he said yes, we were both so happy," St. Clair remarked.
Co-producer Scott David noted, "We wanted to get a very close physical resemblance to the original movie cast and that was quite a challenge and we're confident that this will be a very entertaining musical and our talented cast will blow away fans of 'Grease.'"
Ryder and David are no stranger to adult movie musicals as this is their third hardcore musical of the year following "Not South Park XXX" and "Not the Wizard of Oz XXX."
"I guess this is the year of the XXX musical," Ryder joked.
Bob Christian general manager of Adam & Eve, said he was pleased with the ongoing partnership with X-Play. "These guys really know how to make hits and we have confidence they will deliver another spectacular movie," Christian said. "We've been wanting to make a parody of 'Grease' for a long time so we're really excited."
Much of the production will be shot in Nevada.
Adam & Eve Pictures is also set to release Ryder's "Love Boat XXX: A Parody" in late September. "Wait until you hear the theme song and see the crew. We're really proud of the movie. Wow, what a year," Ryder said.
