Nina Mercedez to Host La Scorpia Swimwear Launch Party in Hollywood

LOS ANGELES — Nina Mercedez will celebrate her newest venture, La Scorpia Swimwear, with a Hollywood launch party this Saturday at Colony Nightclub.

The La Scorpia Swimwear collection inicludes a variety of one- and two-piece suits designed to embrace and highlight the curves of a woman’s body.

The original La Scorpia collection featured 15 pieces but due to the strong response and multiple requests from customers to expand the line, Mercedez has added several additional pieces. All the new additions mirror the style of the original collections with figure-flattering pieces accented with embellishments including pendants, chain, metal, bling and sequins. The female friendly collection fits most body types and range in size from S-XL and up to an F in some of the tops.

“I have to admit I was a little nervous when I first decided to start my own swimwear line," Mercedez said. "It has always been a dream of mine but as soon as the collection came out I was overwhelmed by the support of my fans and people in the industry. With so much interest in the line and strong sales I was excited to expand the line and add some new pieces. Even though we did the launch in Vegas I really wanted to have a La Scorpia party in LA also. I hope everyone will come out to mingle, drink and support me on Saturday.”

DJ Five Star and DJ Splyce will be spinning at the party. To inquire about bottle service or to RSVP, contact Jamie Barren at (310)749-9029 or via twitter @JamieBarren. Colony is located at 1743 North Cahuenga Blvd., LA, 90028, 1/2 blocknorth of Hollywood Blvd.
