HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Hollywood’s secret love affair with porn has created a number of films dedicated to the adult industry with some top name performers taking on the roles of their sexy counterparts.
In a light-hearted celebration of those who’ve “bared it all for the cameras,” VH1 has compiled its “Complete Guide to Actors Playing Porn Stars in Movies and TV,” spotlighting 40 mainstream stars spanning decades of Hollywood’s homage to porn.
The gallery features VH1’s hottest female celebs from Carmen Electra, Denise Richards and Heather Graham, to favorite leading Hollywood men from comedic Seth Rogan to the roguish Charlie Sheen.
In addition to some of the better known porn adaptations like “The People vs. Larry Flynt,” (Courtney Love as Althea Flynt), “Wonderland” (Val Kilmer as John Homes) and “Boogie Nights" (Mark Wahlberg as Dirk Diggler), some other non-porn related shows and sitcoms featured actors like TV’s “Friends” star Lisa Kudrow, who played her twin sister and porn star, Ursula Buffay.
Recent additions include Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace in “Lovelace,” and Gretchen Mole as pin-up and bondage legend Bettie Page in “The Notorious Bettie Page.”
