Sunny Leone Says Her Porn Days Are Over

MUMBAI, India — Adult star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone says she has no plans to return to porn.

Leone told the Times of India that her foray into mainstream movies is now getting her offers that will hone her acting skills, filling her slate through the end of 2014.

The star has also put down roots in a beach house in Mumbai, sharpened her Hindi language skills, and reportedly loves her new life. "I am lucky that the audience is accepting me. I have come my way from there [porn industry]. I don't have any plans as of now to go back there," she said.

Even her husband and manager Daniel Weber has gotten the acting bug, appearing in a cameo in Leone’s upcoming thriller, “Jackpot.”

"I am getting accepted in the industry and bagging performance oriented roles. I am happy that I am doing all kind of films be it a horror, thriller or action. I have three films lined up — ‘Ragini MMS 2,’ ‘Jackpot’ and ‘Tina and Lolo.’ I don’t have time for anything else as I am shooting them back-to-back," Leone said.

Right now, the Indo-Canadian star is playing the lead role opposite veteran Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah in Kaizad Gustad's “Jackpot,” whom she said is giving her key acting tips.

"I am in awe of him. He is one of the finest actors that India has produced. He is such a good actor that when you stand next to him, your performance also improves. I asked him to correct me whenever possible but he just laughed," she said.

After recently wrapping Ekta Kapoor's horror film, “Ragini MMS 2,” Leone said the film will shake people up. "I can't reveal much about the film but I can say that it's one of the scariest films. It's scarier than it's previous part. People will have nightmares of me after watching it," Leone said.

Next up for Leone is an “action avatar” role in Devang Dholakia's “Tina And Lolo.”
