HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Joanna Angel and the punk porn starlets of Burning Angel will be throwing a party in celebration of the recent release of “The Walking Dead: A Hardcore Parody” and Phoenix Askani’s birthday at the Viper Room on August 7.
The party, dubbed “Zombie Fuckalypse,” will feature live metal bands, DVD giveaways and fan contests.
“This will be the sexiest event with zombies,” said Joanna Angel, co-founder of BurningAngel. “Phoenix knows how to have and show her fans a great time! We’re both really excited about partying with our friends, rocking out to our favorite metal bands and we can’t wait for everyone to watch and enjoy the latest hardcore parody.”
Bands slated to play at the Hollywood hot spot include Terraforming, Children (featuring porn stars Dany Wylde and Chad Alva) and Nomads. ACxDC. KLOAK will be spinning metal all night between sets.
Doors to the event will open at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance at www.ViperRoom.com or $12 at the door.
“The Walking Dead: A Hardcore Parody” follows Angel, Tommy Pistol, Skin Diamond, Kleio, Sierra Cure and Jessie Lee as they cross a post-apocalyptic wasteland dominated by horny, flesh-craving “walkers.” It hit streets in mid-July.
Since Burning Angel's launch in 2002 , it has become synonymous with a new species of erotica known as "alt porn" and now consists of a network of eight separate websites.
