Will Ryder Announces 'Summer Porn Parody Bash'

LOS ANGELES — Director Will Ryder is teaming up with Adam & Eve Pictures, HotMovies and X-Play to throw a "Summer Porn Parody Bash" at 10 p.m. Saturday, August 10 at Tru Hollywood.

Ryder, owner of X-Play, said the event will be "a celebration of the entire porn parody genre" and his latest releass, "Not the Wizard of Oz XXX," available now through Pulse, and also the upcoming Adam & Eve Pictures release of "Love Boat XXX A Parody."

Stars of the movies including Capri Cavanni, Sunny Lane, Annika Albrite and Brandy Aniston will be co-hosting the party with Ryder, his X-Play partner Scott David and promoter Brad Thomas.  James Bartholet will act as master of ceremonies.

"We're going to make this a night to remember," said Bartholet, who plays the Cowardly Lion in "Wizard of Oz XXX."

Ryder said that Tru Hollywood has a large VIP area and private entrance for recognized members of the adult industry. Admission is $20 however the first 120 porn girls arriving by 11 p.m. will get in free. All others in the industry can enter for $15 before 11.  There is no RSVP but after 11, entry will be $20 for everybody.

"This party is going to be so good Judy Garland would die to get in and Captain Stubing would abandon ship to be amongst the beautiful porn people," Ryder cracked.

"Also this is not one of those bullshit porn parties where hardly anybody shows up and if you do show up you can't get in anyway. We don't roll like that plus we have the entire club at our disposal plus a VIP room that holds four hundred.  If you show up early enough you will get in."

Media will be allowed to shoot stills and video on the red carpet and inside the adult industry VIP section located on the lower level. Complimentary media passes are limited by the club but media members without free credentials can still shoot inside the VIP area by paying the entrance fee.

Tru Hollywood is located at 1600 North Argyle Ave., Hollywood, 90028. Valet parking and several parking lots are available across the street off of Selma and Vine.

For table and bottle service contact Brad Thomas at 818.515.3760.
