First Google Glass Porn Hits 1 Million Views, BTS Released

SEATTLE — MiKandi’s first-ever two-way POV Google Glass porn, produced in collaboration with XBIZ, has surpassed 1 million views within 24 hours of its release.

Building on the momentum, MiKandi and XBIZ have released exclusive behind the scenes footage of the ground-breaking shoot.

Since the clip was unveiled yesterday, YouTube’s safe for work version has garnered attention from international mainstream tech news organizations, such as Huffington Post, Mashable, Slate, Complex and more. Touting MiKandi’s intrepid ingenuity in defeating Google Glass’ porn ban, reports also praise the skit’s humor and notable stars, James Deen and Andy San Dimas.

“We're thrilled that people are having as much fun with this video as we did creating it,” MiKandi CEO Jesse Adams said. “We've always been big supporters of Google's products and it's going to get really interesting as wearable smart devices become mainstream. It's too bad you can't actually watch these POV videos on Glass yet because it's surreal.

“Sex is supposed to be fun and this video demonstrates that capturing intimate POV moments with Glass produces unscripted and highly personal footage. James Deen and Andy San Dimas were just being themselves and that's why the video is so compelling. The response has been so overwhelmingly positive that we're already joking about a sequel. Maybe an orgy of a dozen Glass users. Any Glass volunteers?”

According to the co-producer of the video, XBIZ's Moe Helmy, the clip’s impressive viewership speaks for the power of viral videos.

“When we collaborated with MiKandi on this project, we didn’t know what the reaction would be,” Helmy said. “Videos go truly viral only if they strike a cord and this video did. It also gives us a measure of the potential impact of  Google Glass porn.”

The sketch — available in both a censored and uncensored format — follows the performers as they uncover the powerful hidden capabilities of Google Glass. The video ends with a cameo from none other than porn legend, Ron Jeremy. The censored comedy sketch is available to view on MiKandi's YouTube channel.

The uncensored, 18-and-over version is available at Mikandi.com.
