LONDON — A racier trailer for "Lovelace" intended for U.K. audiences has made its debut on the web.
Last week, XBIZ streamed a trailer intended for U.S. audiences, but that trailer was tame compared to this new U.K version.
The upcoming film takes a deep look into the life and times of fabled porn star Linda Lovelace.
Amanda Seyfried plays Linda Lovelace in the film, which documents the "Deep Throat" starlet's transformation from adult superstar to anti-porn activist.
Peter Sarsgaard plays Chuck Traynor, Lovelace’s husband; Adam Brody plays Harry Reems, Lovelace’s costar in "Deep Throat"; and James Franco stars as Hugh Hefner.
The film also stars Sharon Stone as Seyfried’s mother and Hank Azaria as the director of "Deep Throat."
The movie premiered in January at Sundance Film Festival and was later picked up by an independent distributor.
The movie is set to debut in theaters Aug. 23.
