Red Apple Media's dotCOM host Showcased in Video

SAN DIEGO — Red Apple Media sister company dotCOM host has been featured in a video produced by international tech company Parallels to showcase one of the hosting provider’s many success stories.

Featuring co-founder and President Remik Kolodziej, the video shows how Red Apple Media’s and dotCOM host’s effective management tools helped a fast-growing start-up develop into a flourishing online business with more than a decade of success.

After a year in business, mainstream surface graphic designer Blik signed with dotCOM host to create a secure and reliable ecommerce platform to its growing online business.

After implementing a variety of ecommerce and management tools – including the Plesk control panel developed by Parellels – Blik was able to build its online presence and manage its servers easily and efficiently 24 hours a day. Now, 10 years later, Blik is an internationally acclaimed design company.

“We are quite proud of the work our sister company, dotCOM host, has done with Blik and we love helping small and medium-sized companies like Blik do better business online,” Red Apple Media Vice President of Sales Michelle Lockhart said. “Blik is just one of countless satisfied customers who benefit first-hand from our unique range of hosting, content delivery and ecommerce tools.”

Before working with dotCOM host, Blik was at the mercy of its previous hosting company to make even minor adjustments to the site. At that point the company was adding new mailboxes, setting up new FTP accounts, and adjusting their servers every day and needed to switch to a provider that would simply make running an online business easier. And that’s where dotCOM host and the Plesk control panel came in.

“We like to make changes on the fly whenever we need to, whenever we want to,” the Blik CEO said. “We don’t have the resources here on staff to be able to keep a full time technical person and having something like Plesk for us is very beneficial because it allows us the access and control that we need whenever we need it.”

Plesk, available to all Red Apple Media and dotCOM host clients, is a convenient automation tool for day-to-day website management that allows small and medium-sized businesses handle their online accounts without having to outsource for help.

Following Blik’s booming success, the makers of Plesk decided to feature dotCOM host and Blik in an online video highlighting its story. The full video can be viewed here
