Gay Porn Stars Tweet Reactions to DOMA, Prop. 8 Rulings

WASHINGTON — The Sword reported that “gay porn stars were overjoyed” by the news of yesterday's landmark Supreme Court rulings overturning DOMA and Prop. 8 — and went to the twittersphere for hard evidence.

Brent Everett’s response was highlighted because the Canadian-born performer was barred from living in the U.S. for the majority of this year and separated from stateside husband Steve Pena as a result of Prop. 8. The two were married in California in 2008 before the law was passed.

Yesterday Everett tweeted a wedding photo of him and Pena, accompanied by the text, “I love you.”

Austin Wilde, mastermind behind guysinsweatpants.com, posted, “The wedding invites for [Davey Wavey] and my wedding will be bacon scented, shaped like foreskin and a cute puppy will deliver them.”

“How far we came from racism 2 same-sex marriages. I’m so proud 2 call myself an American and also just as proud of our Supreme Court,” Falcon exclusive Ryan Rose tweeted.

Other excited tweeters included Chi Chi La Rue, Brayden Forrester, Trenton Ducati, Race Cooper and Tate Ryder.

While the gay porn community’s overwhelming support of the court’s decisions were echoed by the likes of president Barrack Obama and former president Bill Clinton, some politicians dissented through disgruntled Tweets.

Republican House Representative from Kansas Tim Huelskamp wrote, “This radical usurpation of legislative and popular authority will not end the debate over marriage in this country,” and promised to introduce an amendment to the Constitution banning same-sex marriage.
