Kanye West Talks Sex Tape, Porn With 'W' Magazine

LOS ANGELES — If Kanye West’s sex tape ever hits the streets it may be released by the star himself.

In an interview with “W” magazine, West said he wouldn't care if the homemade tape of himself and an unknown women shot in a hotel room ever hit the streets.

“For the most part, I‘d rather people have one of those home videos than some of the paparazzi photos that get published. At least I recorded the shit myself. That tape couldn’t have hurt me in any way if it came out, it could only have helped,” West told W.

Comments from West to the magazine, like “Now, I just do exactly what I want, whenever I want, how the fuck I want. Fuck you is my message," fueled speculation that the hip hop star just might actually release the tape at some point in time.

West also professed his love for adult films and described porn as one of his super-obsessions. “The porn thing has never left since I was in high school,” West said.

Some of that love was evident last July when the Grammy-winning artist and renowned photographer Barnaby Roper produced an erotic video short featuring Polish supermodel Anja Rubik's fashion magazine "25" that included snapshots of sex, bondage and blood.

And in June 2012 rumors surfaced about West meeting with a major porn company in order to produce porn versions of his music videos, but the deals never materialized.
