Effex Media Supports Cancer Center

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. — Effex Media took some time out of a busy promotion schedule at Internext to raise awareness for a good cause, the Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund and its fight against breast cancer.

“This is a great opportunity at a show of this magnitude make more people aware of breast cancer ,” Effex Media’s John M. said. “Our industry deals with human sexuality on so many levels, it’s kind of hard to avoid. Let’s show them we are more than the stereotypical porn companies, and we do good deeds as well.” The Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund was established in 2000 and supports the laboratory of Molecular Biologist/Geneticist Andrew K. Godwin, Ph.D., in the Fox Chase Cancer Center medical science division. Godwin and his team of researchers study the hereditary and non-hereditary factors that influence one's risk of developing breast cancer and/or response to therapy.
