Klein first heard about Cytherea while listening to “The Howard Stern Show.” His local radio station, however, kept censoring the interview Stern was having with Cytherea since it was still on terrestrial radio. Two weeks later, a friend from Universal Music and Ministry of Sound requested a new single from Monster Taxi for an upcoming compilation. Klein enlisted classic rock singer Marco Cocchiaro and DJs Austin Leeds and Ben Grassini, giving birth to “Boogie Makes A Splash.” They also created disco, funk and house mixes.
A full-length Monster Taxi album is slated for a September 2006 release and will also include a remake of Foxy's "Get Off" featuring two of the original members.
